We have enjoyed Lucas pizza in the past. HOWEVER, we had a very disappointing experience. We have always asked for our pizza to be cooked well done, that usually never happened but we like the flavor so we would put it in the oven and cook it to our taste. We just got used to that. This time it was so undercooked that when they put it in the box, all of the toppings slid to one side. The worst part is we called in to try and get a resolve from the manager, we still haven't received a return call, our order was on July 8th this is July 17. In the last review they Luca's suggested calling before leaving a review. All things considered the cons have now outweighed the pros. We are back to Gionino's thin crust.

My favorite go-to pizza shop for New York style. Lucas is super yummy with such friendly staff. I think i’ve converted all my close family and friends. I love supporting a family-run local business. One of Akron’s finest for sure!

I would have rather the employees tell me they’re closing and couldn’t take another order. The way my pizza was given to me is a spit in the face. I can’t make this up. This is suppose to be for human consumption. For a family to enjoy and eat. Why? Why not just have the integrity. One woman was cleaning the door, another was polite but dismissive.

Best thin crust dill pickle specialty pizza in this half of Ohio. Pickles with a hint of salty, spicy, and sweet sauce. They can do it all whether you like thick or thin crust pizza. Luca’s New York Style Pizza family business is accommodating towards your needs. If you need to make changes to their menu items they make it possible. As a small business they keep it simple but sometimes you are in for a surprise. Their version of a St. Patrick’s day themed slice was amazing. Thank you for making this cold afternoon feel special.

I’d give Lucas Pizza in Stow about 3 stars. The inside was brightly lit and very clean, making for a pleasant stop. The atmosphere was okay, and the customer service was mid. Not bad, not great. I had the pepperoni pizza, and honestly, it was just okay for me. I believe there are better pepperoni slices around. However, the buffalo chicken pizza was a standout. Probably one of the best in the area in my opinion. I appreciated their toppings station with Parmesan, red pepper flakes, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder. At the time of this review, slices were about $3.25 each, which feels fair for what you get. If you stop by, I would say skip the pepperoni and definitely try that buffalo chicken!
